WORKSHOP INFORMATION

When travelling east on the Bruxner Highway from Lismore turn off at either Sneaths Road at the TAFE College or turn left off the Alstonville bypass to Kays Lane at Russellton and proceed along Lismore Road and Bugden Avenue to the roundabout in Main Street Alstonville

When travelling west on the Bruxner Highway from Ballina/Wardell turn right off the Alstonville bypass at the top of Perry’s Hill just past the Ag Station and proceed along Ballina Road to the roundabout in Main Street Alstonville.

Head west from the roundabout on Daley Street (uphill about 200 m) and turn left into Wardell Road

Location

The workshop is located in the grounds of Summerland House Farm (formerly known as the House with No Steps) on the left about 2.5 kms south of Alstonville along Wardell Road.

Description
The workshop is 30m x 10m and contains a 20m x 10m workshop area; entry/display area; meeting room; disable bathroom; kitchen; back veranda and dust extractor room. A timber store 12m x 4m is located at the rear of the workshop. The workshop is equipped with a ducted dust extraction system.

 

Equipment
The workshop is equipped with a wide range of wood working machines and portable power tools. including: sliding table circular saw; variable speed wood turning lathes; thicknesser; jointer; thickness sander; belt and disk sanders; bobbin sander; band saws; drop saw; sliding drop saw; pedestal drills; router tables; horizontal drilling machine; wet grinders; scroll saws; drills; routers; biscuit joiners; portable circular saws; sanders; air compressors; nail guns.
